Welcome to our Nursery, also known as FS1. In our nursery we have lots of practical learning experiences both inside and out including forest school. The activities are structured and child led following the children’s interests to ensure engagement and enthusiasm for learning in our integrated Foundation Stage Unit.
Our Day
Nursery staff open the gates at 8:45am for children to enter the building and settle into class. The Nursery doors close at 8:55am.
When Nursery finishes, the children are brought to the playground by the teacher and handed over to authorised/agreed adult. Children will not be allowed to go with an unauthorised adult or child.
Morning Session
Morning sessions will now run 8:55am -11:55pm
Afternoon Session
Afternoon sessions will run 12:30pm-3:30pm
All Day Session
All day session are 8:55am - 3:30pm with a 30 minute break for lunch
Children booked in for full days will require either a packed lunch or can book a school meal. The current price for school meals is £2.50 per day/£12.50 per week, payable to the office in advance on Monday mornings. We ask you to put the dinner money in a named envelope to avoid loss of confusion. Correct change is greatly appreciated.

We try to be as flexible as we can to accommodate our families, however sessions must be chosen and booked a term in advance.
30 hours Free Funding
From September 2024 we will be extending our Nursery hours and accepting the funding for 30 hours childcare, please see the below link on how to apply for this and if to see if you are eligible.
All 3 and 4 year old children will be entitled to up to 30 hours of free early education per week – term time only.
As a part time childcare provider you can use 15 or 30 hours at our nursery Monday - Friday.
